Up until now, only one application was able to compress files into RAR format, leaving users with no other option but to navigate the complexities of the command line. Unfortunately, developers of alternative compression/decompression tools were unable to integrate the proprietary software, and the same goes for Rarify. However, Rarify claims to offer a graphical user interface allowing users to create RAR files without the need for Terminal. Although it is more of an icon on the Dock than a traditional interface, the process is simple - just drag and drop your file onto the icon, and Rarify will handle the rest, whether it be compression or decompression. Additionally, there is no need to worry about installing RAR separately, as Rarify is equipped to download and install the latest RAR version automatically if it is not already detected on your system.
